OUR ADDRESS

New Brighton Squash Tournament

New Brighton rugby clubs squash and squash 57 had its 1st tournament in 10 years if not more, Mark Whitfield has returned to the club to get the squash section back where it belongs on the squash, squash 57 circuits in full support of the new squash chairman, the rugby club committee and members both rugby and squash.

It was a huge success for the club topped with another great win from the rugby 1st team 41 – 20 over Bury, well done New Brighton!

The tournament was a huge success and supported by many of our faithful members, including Joe Parsley who, unable to play, came to spectate and support the club and tournament. Mark owns Capital Solutions so there was no shortage of medals for the winners.

The trophy going to Matt Slater was a well-deserved win over long-standing Mike Gallagher who, to be fair, had a tough game with John Langley and Karl Mullins on his way to the final..

The club and all its members supported our raffle with almost a prize for everyone, drawn and compered by Simeone Schiff in the bar which was full to the brim with players and spectators alike, almost certainly the place to be!

A big thank you to everyone
